Nothing can be more awkward than watching Derek Jeter and Alex Rodriguez in the same frame. Every time A-Rod gets a chance to interact with Jeter, he tries his best to make amends with the former Yankees captain. And Jeter, on the other hand, is just the opposite.

Although he has never said it, after watching the recent episode of KayRod Cast, one can say that Jeter does not feel comfortable in A-Rod’s company. Notably, despite knowing each other for over 20 years, the two former shortstops have seen several ups and downs in their friendship.

Recently, when Jeter appeared on the latest episode of KayRod cast, A-Rod and Jeter started talking about the infamous shirtless photoshoot they had in their younger days. While A-Rod was still joyful about the photoshoot, Jeter regretted doing it.

Will Derek Jeter ever come back for another KayRod Cast with Alex Rodriguez?

Dating back to the 1997 season, Five MLB shortstops, including Derek Jeter and Alex Rodriguez, posed for a shirtless photograph in Miami. This photograph grabbed everyone’s attention, and it became popular as ‘shirtless shortstops.’ And at that time, A-Rod was not a Yankee, but a Seattle Mariners player.

As earlier mentioned, to date, Jeter regrets doing this photoshoot. And while talking about this incident, Jeter even asked not to show the photo. But ESPN displayed the photo on the screen.

“We were actually… that photoshoot in Miami, and please don’t put it on screen… But that photoshoot in Miami, and remember as the last shot that we had that day. And everyone was willing to do it and I was the holdout… I should not have done that…,” Jeter said.
