Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez had always remained in the public eye for all four years of their relationship. Given their stature, even as individuals, they were always surrounded by the media’s eyes. Rodriguez and Lopez got loved as a couple. Although Jennifer never said a word about A-Rod after their infamous breakup, the former Yankee has never shied away from appreciating his ex-fiancee for being a wonderful human being.

And unlike A-Rod, Jennifer has smartly avoided discussing anything related to her ex-fiance. What is more surprising is that earlier this year when her documentary film, “Halftime,” there was not even a mention of Alex Rodriguez. And when asked about the same, the 53-year-old revealed the main reason for the same.

Notably, moving on after coming out of a serious relationship can be tough. But both Alex and Jennifer dealt in their own way. Nonetheless, four years is not a short time. Therefore, when there was no mention of Rodriguez in her documentary, it raised questions among their fans.

Jennifer also got asked about it. But she gave a rather political answer instead of stating why a big part of her life did not get mentioned at all in her documentary. “I’ve lived in the public eye. One of the things I’m proud of is that I’m able to hold it together in front of everybody without anybody knowing how I feel. Like even now, I’m not gonna get into what my relationships were like,” said Jennifer.

According to her, ‘Halftime’ is about the journey that she’s on. She added that the key to life is to be a keeper of your own life. And not by expecting somebody to give you a home, but by building your own.
