Alex Rodriguez is an all-time baseball great and built an incredible resume over parts of 23 years. A-Rod was known for his slugging ability as a batter and versatility as a player. He was a 14-time All-Star, 3-time AL MVP, and 2-time Gold Glove winner. Rodriguez established himself as a star while playing for the Seattle Mariners and solidified his legacy while playing for the New York Yankees.

Over a rather tumultuous career, Rodriguez achieved it all as a baseball player. Since retiring, Alex Rodriguez has stayed fit and is quite fond of working out. One of A-Rod’s ex-girlfriends even said that he enjoys a particular activity that you may not associate with him.

According to ex-fiance Jennifer Lopez, Alex Rodriguez loves dancing

While shooting the music video for her song “Dinero”, JLo answered some questions in an interview with Renee Bargh of Extra TV. One of these questions was about Alex Rodriguez, JLo’s boyfriend, at the time.

Renee: Any chance your man’ll make a cameo in this video at all?

JLo: Not at all, he doesn’t do, he doesn’t do videos.

Renee: No? Can he dance? Do some backup dancing?

JLo: He wants to.

Renee: Really?

JLo: Yes, well, he always asks. Like today as I was leaving to go, you know, film the video. He’s like “are the dancers gonna be there?” He loves when we dance, he loves it when we get together and do our choreography. And he sits sometimes in the front of rehearsal and he starts doing it with us and they love it. And he’s the best.

However, A-Rod and JLo announced their breakup in April 2021 to the shock of many worldwide.

Alex Rodriguez has since dated two women, including Kathryne Padgett, who he dated for a short while earlier this year. And his current girlfriend Jaclyn Cordeiro, who he started dating shortly after breaking up with Padgett.

Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez released a joint statement in a TODAY exclusive last year. They stated they wanted to focus on being friends and will continue to support each other.
