Furthermore, the Yankee great has even made a few appearances on television shows and movies as well. Most recently, he was tipped for a potential cameo appearance in a top sitcom.

Derek Jeter may be set for a cameo appearance on “How I met Your Father”

“How I Met Your Mother” was one of the most popular sitcoms during its days on television. One thing that gave the show a different dimension was running gags. One of which was their repeated reference to the New York Yankees. That gag has carried over to their sister show, How I Met Your Father. Furthermore, it has set up a potential cameo appearance for Derek Jeter himself.

According to a Screen Rant article, How I Met Your Father has set “up a potential cameo for the retired Yankee Derek Jeter”. The article further said that one of the show’s single characters “expressed his admiration for Derek Jeter’s reported womanizing ways”. This reportedly may set up a cameo where Jeter pops up and offers his advice as a legendary figure.

Jeter has made cameo appearances before, on ‘Seinfeld’ and in the Hollywood movie ‘The Other Guys’. Most Yankees fans would love for the legendary shortstop to make a cameo in their favorite tv show. But even if this cameo doesn’t happen, baseball fans can watch Jeter on television this year.

Yes! You read that right. Derek Jeter has signed a deal to join Fox Sports as an MLB analyst. This ends all speculation surrounding his future. The Yankee legend is now beginning his broadcasting career. Jeter will begin his new role starting with the 2023 season with most fans excited to watch him.
