Earlier in 2019, the New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox, played their first-ever major league game in London. And none other than Britain?s Prince Harry, and the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, graced the occasion with their dashing presence.

When the Yankees and Red Sox traveled to London to play baseball, the royal couple could not resist but made their graceful presence in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and the clubhouses of both teams.

Per Fox News, the Duchess of Sussex and Britain’s Prince also had one-to-one interactions with some players from both teams. The two also conversed with the then-Yankees ace, CC Sabathia, and the Red Sox pitcher, Chris Sale, during the ceremonial first pitch.

Since Prince Harry and Meghan had recently become parents to their newborn son, Archie, the New York Yankees, and the Red Sox, gifted them onesies to the royal couple.

Even though baseball is not a popular sport in Britain, the first two games witnessed stadium-packed spectators in attendance, almost 60,000 in a game.
