Houston Astros have been probably the most consistent team in the American League over the last 5-6 years. With players like Jose Altuve, Justin Verlander, and Alex Bregman and visionary manager Dusty Baker, the Astros have emerged as a new MLB giant.

Recently, to take the franchise to a new high, the Astros collaborated with rap mogul Curtis ‘50 Cent’ Jackson’s liquor brand ‘Sire Spirits’ to rebrand the Astros’ beer bar at the Minute maid Park. It will be a multi-year partnership between the two parties.

It will mark the first collaboration between Sire Spirits LLC and an MLB franchise. With this partnership, the Houston Astros are aiming to change multiple things at Minute Maid Park. And with this lucrative partnership, the Astros seem to be on the right way. Although it seemed to be a good deal for the Astros, 50 Cent may have triggered the Yankees fanbase.

Per MLB.com, the Houston Astros will rebrand The Club Level Bar at Minute Maid Park in the next year. 50 Cent’s Sire Spirits will also rebrand the Astros Suite 1 to the Sire Spirits Suite in 2023. And fans will also get to use the new suite for selected games, while 50 Cent will use the suit once in a while.

“Sire Spirits will also rebrand Suite 1 to the “Sire Spirits/50 Cent Suite in 2023,” said the press release.”While the Sire Spirits branded suite will be used by Jackson year-round; It will be made available to fans for select games and charitable uses.”

After the agreement, the $52 million worth 50 Cent also sounded positive about the partnership. He admitted that he is proud and excited about his first MLB deal.

“I am especially proud and excited about our first Major League Baseball deal with The Astros,” 50 Cent said. “We share the same philosophy of conscious capitalism. I look forward to providing the opportunity for at-risk teens to experience the excitement of attending a baseball game in a luxury suite setting at Minute Maid Park.”

50 Cent triggered the Yankees fanbase!

It is not a secret that Curtis ‘50 Cent’ Jackson loves to don a Yankees cap while performing on stage. But after signing this collaboration with the Astros, the Yankees fans might not get to see the rap legend doing the same. Notably, the Astros and Yankees share a heated rivalry in the American League.
