A memorabilia collector of tickets, Darren Rovell, took to Twitter to announce that a ticket stub of Derek Jeter’s debut game got sold on eBay. He didn’t fail to mention that the stub was of the debut game of Jeter, where he went 0-5.

The legacy that the Hall of Famer has left on the field for many generations to come could make one wonder how can anyone buy a used ticket for such a whopping price. But as they say, anything is possible in Derek Jeter’s case. Taking to Twitter, Rovell shared an image of the ticket.

For those wondering whether this price was too high for a ticket, hold your breath! Because MLB legend Jackie Robinson of the Brooklyn Dodgers holds the record for the highest ticket stub. Robinson made his MLB debut in 1947. The ticket stub for his debut game sold for a massive price of $480,000.
