For the Angels, this season has not been going well. They have lost matches in a row that has already pushed them away from the Playoffs. The 29-year-old is the only player trying to make up for his team’s performance. And fans were expecting a lot from Wednesday’s game, especially from Ohtani. However, from a fan’s Tweeted video, this designated hitter’s attitude before the game clearly shows his disinterest towards his team. And as this wasn’t enough, the game costed heavily to the superstar.

Japanese Sensation, Shohei Ohtani, Spotted Dancing and Enjoying in the Dugouts Before the Game

Los Angeles Angels have been going through a bad time. Their continuous bad results are likely to push them away from the playoffs. While fans have already been stressed out about the performance of their favorite team, the Wednesday game with Reds portrayed a different picture. Fans caught sight of the Japanese superstar in a relaxed state before the game, wearing gloves while dancing and chatting.

Ohtani is not among players who take things lightly and enjoy before games. Angels have been going through a World Series drought since 2014; this is the 8th year they are likely to miss the Playoffs, given their consistent poor performances. This Japanese Sensation is the only one who has been trying his best every year to make it to the Playoffs, but this time, the drought has affected him too, causing him to lose hope in his team.

In recent times, the Two-Way Phenom has been trying to carry the team alone, with most legends injured and unable to play. He displayed an exceptional performance when facing the Detroit Tigers. Despite the Angels’ loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers, Ohtani’s performance remained impressive. And it is only possible to carry a team with the support and play of others in the team. It seems he is tired of it and has given up. However, things didn’t end there that day as a shock and disheartening incident awaited the Angles star.

Ohtani Left the Game with a Severe Injury, Resting For Remainder Season

After his moments with teammates in the dugouts, the scenario immediately changed for the 29-year-old. In an unfortunate turn of events, the Japanese sensation alongside his trainer had to leave the game against Reds with an arm fatigue. Soon after, Perry Minasian, the Angels general manager, confirmed that the two-way sensation will most likely not be able to play for the rest of the season and may require a surgery.

The time is adamant for the Angels as one of their best Center Fielders, Mike Trout, suffered a hamate fracture and has only recently recovered. Even after a prolonged absence, Trout has not yet been fit enough to play. Angels are already underway a terrible time, and with Ohtani’s injury, it will be much more challenging for them to return to their usual pace.
