SF Giants are one of the heavyweights of this season. Given the depth and strength of their roster, the Giants make a good competitive team. But it is a pity that they are in the group of death. Yes! With LA Dodgers and San Diego Padres in the same group, it will be difficult for the Giants to overcome their division rivals.

To best their rivals, the San Francisco Giants will have to win easy games at any cost. But in a recent series, the Giants faced a defeat from the bottom-placed team of the American League. Though the Giants won the three-game series, they lost the third game.

After winning the first two games of the series, the Giants struggled against the Royals. And ultimately, they lost the game in a close encounter (3-2) against the Royals. After this, fans also criticized the Giants for losing against a team as weak as the Royals.

Kansas City Royals snapped the winning streak of the SF Giants

This defeat also snapped a five-game winning streak of the SF Giants. Notably, the Giants have won no major title since their World Series campaign in the 2014 season. Not that the Giants are not playing good baseball, but it’s just that a few other teams are playing a little better than them.

Taking to Twitter, baseball fans slammed the Giants after losing against one of the weakest teams this season. A user even wrote that the Giants lost to one of the worst teams of all time, while another was in shock at how did the Giants lose against the Royals?

Though the Giants won the series, one fan wanted the Gabe Kapler-led team to sweep against the Kansas City Royals. People also criticized the offensive approach from the Giants.

The National League has become a graveyard for Mid-table teams. With the Mets ruling the NL at the top, the Dodgers, Padres, Braves, Cardinals, and Giants are competing hard to better their position. But the winner can be the only one among them.
