Fernando Tatis Jr. has proven time and again that he’s a huge talent, and deserves the $340 million contract. A San Diego Padres star, Tatis is an All-Star as well as a Silver Slugger Award winner. Although PED usage allegations found him in his young career, Tatis is facing the league post-suspension like a champ. From chants of ‘cheater’ to ‘steroids’, fans have let him know exactly how they feel about his comeback.

Yet, Tatis stands strong. His confidence on the field is clear as he usually makes a point of acknowledging the cries of the crowd with either home runs for his team or bold moves. Like dancing or pointing at the crowds like an orchestra conductor. Despite the criticism, the shortstop doesn’t fail to impress. In fact, one admirer even likes his fashion choices.

For the unversed, Mark DeRosa is a former MLB player who also managed Team USA in the World Baseball Classic. Currently, an analyst for MLB Network, DeRosa was asked an interesting question recently. When a reporter asked, “Which Big Leaguer looks best in their uniform?” DeRosa unflinchingly answered, “Fernando Tatis Jr. for me.”

“All the skits, the hair, he can go mid – he’s going mid-shin right there and pulls it off. The way that pants lay on his lower half is perfect,” the MLB veteran says. “The way he’s built, I like him the best. Doesn’t matter what he puts on.”

Another league veteran, Eric Thames, who recently joined MLB Central, also chimed in with his answer. “I think Ronald Acuña Jr. All the accessories, the chains, I mean sweatbands, everything,” Thames says. He agrees when the others point out that the Braves player is usually decked out in bright colors. “That’s how you do it.”

Makes one wonder though, about what would happen if either of these players were ever on the New York Yankees roster! Going by Tatis and his father’s comments about their feelings for pinstripes, the Padres player probably has nothing to worry about!
