Recently, a statistic that shows how Ruth beat the entire Boston Red Sox team in a particular statistic, has been a topic of discussion among baseball fanatics.

Over a 20-year period, Babe Ruth hit more home runs individually than the Boston Red Sox did as a franchise

Babe Ruth is one of the most dominant power hitters of all time. No doubt about that! But a recently uncovered statistic highlights the enormity of his achievements. A Twitter account called BaseballHistoryNut shared that over a 20-year span, Ruth hit more home runs than the entire Boston Red Sox team. Between 1915 and 1935, he hit 714 homers while the entire Red Sox team hit only 712. To further add to the absurdity of this statistic, 43 of the Red Sox?s home runs were hit by Ruth himself.?

The mind boggling part about this stat, is that 43 of the 712 HRs hit by the Red Sox belong to Babe.? It seems like a statistic that you?d see in a game or a movie. It adds to the mind-boggling things that Ruth achieved in his career.

What makes it even more interesting is that Ruth achieved all of this despite his notorious childhood habits. Red Sox fans will be lamenting as they see these stats. Especially considering that the Red Sox traded Ruth away.
