Recently, Derek Jeter accompanied Alex Rodriguez and ace broadcaster Michael Kay for the latest KayRod Cast. And it was a memorable episode for baseball fans, especially the Yankees fans.

The former two Yankees discussed several aspects of the game and their relationship over the years. While on the show, Jeter and A-Rod also opened up about the historic rivalry between the Yankees and Red Sox.

Derek Jeter was not welcomed in the streets of Boston

Although the Yankees and Red Sox have been arch-rivals for over a hundred years, it was even more intense when Derek Jeter and Alex Rodriguez played for the Yankees during the early 2000s. Because both the Yankees and Red Sox were at their peak.

When asked about people?s reaction when Jeter would walk in the streets of Boston, the former Yankees revealed that he did not feel welcomed.

?You can walk… You may hear some things. But you can definitely walk around. No mobs better all the time… So, yeah, you can definitely walk streets. But we weren’t greeted with much love,? Derek Jeter added.
