In a Tweet, Talkin’ Yanks said, “Teams have been targeting Yankees #11 prospect Roderick Arias in trade talks, per @martinonyc”. They further said, “Arias, an 18 year old shortstop from the DR, signed with the Yankees for $4M as the top international prospect last year. He has a .955 OPS in the Florida Complex League this season”.

Bombers need more fire in their batting lineup, with a top power-hitter being their target. However, there are indeed other holes that need to be filled. It will be interesting to see what kind of player the Bombers target. Reacting to the latest development, fans have suggested a name for Arias’ trade.
