Aaron Judge gets walked again. Consequently, Judge goes homerless, again.
As the Pinstripes take on the Blue Jays for a three-game away series, expectations for Aaron Judge’s 61st home run are at an all-time high. But, two surprise guests reached Rogers Centre last night, posing as a good-luck charm for the home run leader.

Notably, cameras spotted Roger Maris Jr. and Patty Judge sitting front and center during the first of three games. Roger Maris Jr. is the son of legend Roger Maris, who holds the record for smashing the most home runs in a single MLB season – 61, since 1961. Patty Judge is the mother of the current home-run leader, Aaron Judge.
Judge’s chase goes on
Yesterday’s game was the 18th time the opponent walked Aaron Judge this season. Judge is currently chasing his historic 61st homer of 2022. However, last evening, he didn’t play with his fans alone. His mother and son of icon Roger Maris, Roger Maris Jr., sat next to each other waiting for the ball to reach the bleachers.

While that, unfortunately, didn’t happen, it was a pleasant sight to watch the two cheering for Judge and his 61st homer together.

If Roger Maris Jr catches his 61st and 62nd home run balls, what do you think he should do with them respectively?

Roger Maris Jr just said “that’s fucked up” to Judge’s mom. I agree

Anybody else think the only reason Roger Maris jr is at these games is to just jinx Judge?
Well, I do. He don't want that record broken. He's a crybaby manchild— Kev (@vinokevy) September 27, 2022
@BlueJays I'm really rooting for Judge to get his 61st HR but not in our house. Nice to see his Mom & Roger Maris Jr here watching the game though

The NY Yankees, especially Aaron Judge, have had a season to remember. The year started off well for the Yanks, as they became the first team to 70 victories. They witnessed a terrible slump through the month of August with six straight series losses. However, the Yanks came back strong after clean sweeping the New York Mets in the Subway Series and they haven’t looked back since. On the other hand, Aaron Judge is now only one home run away from leveling scores with Roger Maris’ special 61.
