Pro baseballer Pablo Sandoval is making use of his considerable assets to polish up his wheels too. And he’s employing longtime friend Alex Vega of The Auto Firm for the job, who just so happens to have helped out Judge too. For the unversed, Vega is a popular choice among stars from various fields and his clients include singer Akon, Starling Marte, and Vladimir Guerrero Jr. from the baseball world. The talented mechanic recently helped out his friend Sandoval with a custom job too.

In a world where cars are a clear status symbol, Alex Vega knows how to deliver. The Auto Firm started out as a small shop in 2010 and now has more than 400 clients that are superstars in one field or another. Pablo Sandoval of the?Olmecas de Tabasco is one of them.

Vega recently shared pictures of the updates he made on the Venezuelan player’s car, painted white with black chrome. He captioned the post, “Rolls Royce Cullinan? Color keyed white, all chrome painted black, sitting on?@Avorza?AV19 Forged Wheels? Done for my boy?@kfp48 ? “

The mechanic is as talented as they come and wants to release his own line of cars someday. Given his talent, it may only be a matter of time before he makes it happen. In any case, he’s great friends with some of his clients.

Vega Sr. was even the godfather to Sandoval’s daughter!

In a 2017 article, ESPN did a deep dive into Alex Vega and his career, not to mention his celebrity customers. Before Aaron Judge was a big deal in MLB and became a client of The Auto Firm, there were others. Sandoval is an old friend and so is former shortstop Alexei Ramirez.

Both players first knew Alex Sr., Vega’s dad, who passed away in 2016. And both Sandoval and Ramirez love this family so much that they named Alex Sr. the godfather of their kids! Former MLB player Hanley Ramirez was also a big fan of his and would spend much of his offseason time with him at the shop.
