Mike Trout has started out the 2023 MLB season in excellent form, continuing from his World Baseball Classic campaign. He recently created an iconic moment with Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and his father Vladimir Guerrero Sr. It happened shortly before Trout’s Los Angeles Angels took on Guerrero Jr.’s Toronto Blue Jays.

This was the first game of a three-game home series for the Angels, with the Blue Jays proving tough competitors. But before the game even started, Trout was involved in a truly once-in-a-lifetime moment with Guerrero Jr. and his father.

Most recently, Mike Trout, Vladimir Guerrero Jr., and his father Vladimir Guerrero posed for a picture while wearing their respective #27 jerseys. Trout and Guerrero Jr. currently wear 27, whereas the senior Guerrero wore it throughout his Hall Of Fame career. The Toronto Blue Jays shared a video of the three posing together on Twitter. This is an iconic moment. Guerrero threw out the ceremonial first pitch for the Los Angeles Angels. 

In a Tweet, the Blue Jays said, “Vlad, Dad, and Mike Trout 🤩 27s EVERYWHERE 🤗”. This is a truly apt description of the situation taking place in the video. Unfortunately for Trout, the Blue Jays beat the Angels 4-3 in a close tie.
