A-Rod revealed that he took this step when he was just 18-19 years old. During his second season in MLB, A-Rod saw how one of the football players from his university team lost his source of income after an injury.

“I remember I was probably 18 or 19 years old, my second year in the major league… I saw one of our players on the football team get hurt. He injured his knee on Monday and Wednesday, literally, he was out of a job. And that scared the crap out of me,” Alex ‘A-Rod’ Rodriguez said. “I panicked and at that age, I started to think about the end. That was how I started this whole thing.”

It was more of a learning experience for A-Rod. Because since that very day, he started to invest his money in the right place. Now, at 46, he has built an empire in business.
