Speaking about the same in a recent interview, another controversial MLB legend Pete Rose, who is also banned from his HOF induction, weighed in with his opinions about whether Barry Bonds should get the HOF induction.

Pete Rose Gets Candid about Barry Bonds’ HOF induction question

In an interview with former American football player Dan Sileo, Pete talked extensively about his induction. This interview was published by JAKIB Sports on their Twitter handle. During the conversation, Sileo said that the Hall of Fame is not complete unless you are in it.

To this, Rose replied, I have given up on that partly; I’ve been waiting since 89.” He further added fuel to the HOF controversy and stated, “If Barry Bonds is not in the hall of fame, you shouldn’t have one, and if Roger Clemens is not in the hall of fame, you shouldn’t have one.”

In 1990-91, Rose was banned by Bartlett Giamatti for life due to his involvement in gambling, and he got served legally for the same as well. Henceforth, this controversy has led to his ineligibility for the Hall of Fame.
