“This lady is like American royalty. Whatever happens, you cannot treat her badly. If you split up for any reason, she has to be the one to dump your a**!,” said the source to Page Six. 

The source continued to add that dating Lopez would be a lot of pressure on anyone. But they soon fell in love and got engaged after two years of dating. In the meantime, they managed to beautifully blend their families.

The former couple had met for the first time in 2005 during a Yankee game. But since they were married to different people at the time, they could not date each other. Back then, Lopez while shaking hands with Rodriguez, felt a weird spark between them. Then, a co-incidental run-in after a decade led to the ex-couple meeting again.
