Baseball is often known as America’s favorite pastime, but its popularity extends far beyond the United States. It is indeed the sport that has the power to bring people of all cultures together, and World Baseball Classic is its perfect example. America’s star player, LA Angels’ two-way phenom Shohei Ohtani is playing for his homeland team in WBC, team Japan. A couple of days ago, Ohtani’s team Japan, went against the Czech Republic.

The latter gave tough competition initially and even struck out the two-way phenom by pitcher Ondrej Satoria. However, in the end, team Japan rose and emerged victorious in the game by 10-2. But one of the great moments came two days after the game. Czech Republic’s pitcher, Satoria, who struck out Ohtani, got a picture clicked with him. Soon after he posted the picture of him standing beside Ohtani holding the signed jersey, baseball fans around the world started pouring their love for the two athletes.
