After having a breakthrough season in 2021, Ohtani is playing even better in the current season. Given the skill he possesses, every team would want to play him by their side. Though he is very serious about his game, the Angels star can be hilarious at times. Recently, the Angels pitching coach Dom Chiti revealed the funny side of Ohtani.

But what happened in the weight room was a complete shock for the Angels’ coach. When Chiti was walking around in the room, suddenly Ohtani threw the ball toward Chiti and said, “Heads up!”

The ball almost hit the 63-year-old Chiti. But it turned out to be filled with only air. “He got me bad,” said Chiti. “There’s not much shame in that, though.”
