A tearaway slugger and impactful fielder, Betts is clearly one of the premier players in the Dodgers’ lineup. However, now away from the ballpark action, he is staying busier with online activities in the offseason. Communicating with fans on the Twitch platform, he recently roasted a caller in front of his followers. Consequently, the MLB community has erupted with comments, reacting to Betts’ response.

An outfielder for the Dodgers, Betts is popular for his multiple talents. So it is obvious that he has an ever-growing fanbase. Moreover, he is one of the most interactive stars among the active roster of MLB players all around. So he became involved in a rather hilarious conversation recently. Betts even posted a screen recording of the talk session on his Twitter account.

While Betts was chatting with one of his fans on Twitch, the particular fan put his girlfriend on the line. She turned out to be a massive Dodgers fan. When Betts found out that she is from New York, he enquired about her favorite food and restaurant. However, the woman’s answer left Betts in disbelief.

The woman replied to Betts’ query by saying that she loves bagels. Additionally, she also said that she puts double cheese, garlic, and onion on the bagels. That made Betts feel further disgusted. The Dodgers icon’s reaction made it clear that he wasn’t fond of her choice of food by any means. 

So Betts posted the video on his Twitter account quoting, “Bagel people don’t @ me for this.” 

One fan replied to the post, by writing, “Garlic in the morning should be illegal.”

Therefore, it seems like most of the fans agree with Betts’ opinion. Nonetheless, though a light-hearted conversation, Betts had still put his words through.
