But things got a bit heated during the game.

Some Puerto Rico fans confronted a controversial rapper who was supporting Mexico. Things got rowdy during the close matchup, resulting in a heated exchange. But despite the rapper being put in potential danger, fans trolled him as the video made its way to Twitter.

Controversial rapper 6ix9ine gets into a confrontation with Puerto Rico fans at the World Baseball Classic

The World Baseball Classic has been exciting, with many clutch moments and exciting action. During Puerto Rico and Mexico’s Quarterfinal game, some Puerto Rico fans got into a confrontation with controversial rapper 6ix9ine. The Puerto Rico fans were shouting at the rapper and making obscene gestures toward him. One fan even threw a can of beer that almost hit the rapper in the head.

Baseball insider Aram Leighton shared a video of the incident on Twitter.

In the Tweet, Leighton said, “6ix9ine is in the building and waving a Mexico flag. A Puerto Rico fan wasn’t having it and threw a beer can right by his head”. In a reply to his Tweet, Leighton also mentioned that the rapper was either relocated or removed.

Fans have reacted to the video and are trolling 6ix9ine brutally. They clearly have a negative opinion of the controversial rapper. Furthermore, fans even wanted him to get hurt.

Some fans wanted the can to be thrown at his head again.

Others wondered why the Puerto Rican fan missed. 

But 6ix9ine is not the only fan that has gotten on people’s nerves. Talking about the game, the result went in the rapper’s favor this time.

Mexico ousts Puerto Rico to reach the World Baseball Classic Semifinal

In a very close encounter, Mexico has beaten Puerto Rico 5-4 to reach the World Baseball Classic Semifinal. They overcame a 4-0 deficit to mount a comeback of epic proportions. They will now face up against Japan in a highly anticipated matchup.
