Not only did he hit a home run in his debut, but now the superstar has also announced something that has left the baseball world searching for air. The famously private Ohtani usually gives a glimpse of his life through his social media accounts. This time he has dropped a major bombshell – ‘Shohei Ohtani is now a married man.’

That’s right! Ohtani has announced that he is no longer the eligible bachelor’s market. As expected the baseball community has been left shell-shocked. Not just because their favorite superstar got married but because of the way the news was delivered – suddenly without any prior hints. So the internet is on the verge of a breakdown as the Shotime fans are reacting quickly to this latest happening.

Shohei Ohtani leaves the baseball world breathless with his latest announcement 

When one fell asleep last night, one didn’t expect today to be any different than one’s routine. However, Shohei Ohtani had different plans. The two-way phenom’s Instagram post hit like a hammer and the vibrations were felt all over the world. In a simple text that had the picture of Decoy, Ohtani announced that he had gotten married. 

“Not only have I began a new chapter in my career with the Dodgers but I also have began a new life with someone from my Native country of Japan who is very special to me and I wanted everyone to know I am now married . I am excited for what is come and thank you for your support,” the post read. 

While it is currently not known who the lady is, the post did make it clear that she’s from Japan. In his post, Ohtani also mentioned that he will conduct a press conference this Friday. So as it stands, Ohtani is off the market and the fans are not able to contain their excitement.

While there are a few who are heartbroken, the majority are happy that their superstar is embarking on a new journey. Ohtani has certainly turned 29 February into a global festival for his fans.
