With baseball being back in action, everything about the game that makes it engaging is also back. Notably, fans are one of the most crucial parts of a game. Hence, fulfilling a fan’s wish, if possible, also becomes important. And MLB’s franchise, New York Yankees, did just that in their last game against the Orioles.

The Bronx Bombers took the win home by a good margin of 4-1. With it, their pitcher, Wandy Peralta, fulfilled a female fan’s wish, giving his fans a wholesome moment.

The New York Yankees pitcher lived up to his fan’s expectations!

Sometime during the game, when Peralta was pitching, a female fan behind him shouted, “strike him out,” at least twice. Within a few seconds, Peralta delivered upon his fan’s wish and struck out the hitter in front of him.

Which then prompted the same fan to shout with happiness, “YESSS!!” And with this win, the Yanks earned their third consecutive win of the season, winning over the Giants, Phillies, and Orioles. The Yanks have played only eight games till now and have won five of them to win over the three teams.

And as soon as the clip of this wholesome moment went up on Twitter, Yankees fans started appreciating Peralta for making the game memorable.

Moments like this do not come very often. Hence, last night’s game was special. And the fan whose wish got fulfilled might probably never forget this moment.
