Not only for the Pinstripes, but Jeter left his mark in MLB as one of the most successful players of all time. During his time at the Brox, Jeter won five World Series for the Pinstripes. The last time the Yankees won a World Series was under his captaincy in the 2009 season.

When Derek Jeter made his Twitter debut, the Yankees legend went back in the time and responded to some old tweets on him. In one of the tweets, a fan shared the experience when his mother got to meet Jeter in person, and his father did not.

He answered a few other questions, too. It has not been even two days since he made his Twitter debut, and the Yankees legend is ready to cross the 300K mark of followers on the microblogging site.

Debuted in the 1995 season for the Pinstripes, Jeter bid farewell to the game as a Yankee in the 2014 season. Considering his legendary career, MLB inducted him into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2020. He became one of the many Yankees to get this honor.
