Time and again, baseball has always proved to be a sport that brings people together. Once again, MLB’s charm has helped a die-hard fan meet his favorite ballplayer with an adorable gesture. There is a saying, “A little kindness goes a long way.” Most recently, the Atlanta Braves played against the Seattle Mariners at their home ground, Truist Park. Although the Braves had the advantage of their home ground and even won the game, it still wasn’t the highlight of the game.

The climax of the game came when the Braves ace Spencer Strider fulfilled the wish of a specially-abled fan with an adorable gesture.

Born in Atlanta, Georgia, Jason is a boy who was diagnosed with Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD). It is a disease that has no cure and progressively affects the strength of muscles. Ever since he got diagnosed, Jason, with his courage and determination to fight the disease, has become an inspiration to many people.

A huge fan of the Braves, Dorn recently visited Truist Park for their game. There, Jason met his favorite player on the team, Spencer Strider. Not only did the ball player meet his fan, but also got a signed baseball for him. While doing so, Spencer, with one of his biggest fans, also got a picture clicked. Hence, while posting the picture on his Twitter handle, Jason wrote, “I saw my buddy @SpencerSTRIDer today!!! He gave me a ball!!! Thank you Spencer! You’re the best!!!” 

The moment shared by Spencer and Dorn became an emotional one and easily became the highlight of the Braves v/s Mariners game. Shortly after Jason posted the picture with Spencer smiling from ear to ear with the baseball in hand, fans from all over started cheering for Dorn. As they did so, they also appreciated Spencer for the beautiful gesture of his fan.
