Alex ‘A-Rod’ Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez have had a highly storied romance. During their dating days, the two were the prime favorite couple for the paparazzi and gossip forums. In 2021, a newly separated ‘A-Rod’ and Lopez almost crossed paths during a vacation. 

‘A-Rod’ and Lopez turned from friends into lovers in a brief time after a coincidental meeting in 2017. And after dating for two years, Rodriguez popped the special question to Lopez during a vacation in the Bahamas. Thus, Lopez accepted Rodriguez’s formal proposal, and they famously got engaged in 2019. However, despite a marriage in the plans, following some rumors, Rodriguez and Lopez rather broke up in 2021. 

But Lopez didn’t stay single for much too long afterward. She soon lit an old flame by rekindling her broken love with former fiance, and world-renowned actor Ben Affleck. The celebrity pair then embarked on a holiday to celebrate Lopez’s upcoming birthday. Interestingly, at the same time, ‘A-Rod’ was also traveling towards the same destination.

Both Rodriguez and Lopez respectively rented luxurious mega-yachts for their royal vacations. Rodriguez booked a $32 million worth yacht named Ocean Paradise. Whereas Lopez booked a $140 worth massive yacht named Valerie. In celebration of his 46th birthday, Rodriguez went aboard with his family and friends. On the other hand, Lopez brought up her 52nd birthday in style with her companion, Ben Affleck.

However, a source later reported, “Alex didn’t know JLo was going ahead with her intention to travel to Saint-Tropez, but he was unfazed when he found out her boat was nearby.” 

The final destination of the two yachts 

Rodriguez’s yacht found its resting place in the port of Monaco. Meanwhile, Lopez also went shopping around in the same location. Nonetheless, they didn’t physically meet on the trip. The next day, Affleck and Lopez’s yacht hit the coast of Italy.
