The University of Texas loses in the Super Regionals as a fly ball goes wrong

The NCAA Baseball Tournament is currently going on, with several big-time clashes in the Super Regionals. Most recently, the University of Texas was eliminated by Stanford as the latter progressed to the College World Series. Texas lost the game in the most devastating fashion in the bottom of the 9th inning. Stanford’s Drew Bowse popped up a high fly ball, which got lost in the lights. This prevented Texas outfielders from making the catch, resulting in a walk-off hit. Jomboy Media shared a video of the incident on Twitter as Stanford celebrated and Texas players experienced a tough loss.

In the tweet, they said, “TEXAS CAN’T FIND IT IN THE LIGHTS AND STANFORD IS GOING TO OMAHA”. Stanford is headed to Omaha to compete in the College World Series. But the players representing the University of Texas will remember this loss.
