The classic Pinstripes meet the iconic Green-Red-Green Stripe

In a Daily Mail report from 2018, Gucci joined forces with baseball giants to create a new line of merchandise following the footsteps of the San Francisco Giants and Los Angeles Dodgers.

The collection comprised a $790 scarf, and two luxurious cardigans, each priced at $3,300. The first cardigan was a rich, dark blue with the iconic Yankee symbol displayed on the top right. On the other hand, the second cardigan was adorned with the letters ‘N’ and ‘Y’ strategically positioned on opposite sides of the buttons. Moreover, the collection also included high-waist, 80s-fit jeans worth $1,300.

The line of merchandise also featured several caps, including a royal blue cap with intricate butterfly embroidery and the recognizable GUCCI symbol priced at $530. Another option was a white cap with a floral design, also priced at $530.

Notably, before the Yankees-Gucci joined hands, Gucci had made some select merchandise for the San Francisco Giants – a sweatshirt with letters ‘S’ and ‘F’ interlocked. In addition to that, Gucci also made leather slippers with the Dodgers logo.

Celebrities who garbed in the Gucci-produced New York Yankees fits

Owing to the Yankees-Gucci partnership, multiple superstars threw on some Yankee merchandise while walking the streets. Amongst them was die-hard Yankees fan Jay Z, alongside Rita Ora, Victoria Beckham, and Rihanna.
