Baseball icon Derek Jeter, after having a lengthy career of twenty years in the big leagues, began a new chapter in his life as he hung up the cleats in 2014. The main aim of this new chapter of his life was to focus on getting settled in his life. The former Yankee had already set everything in motion as he proposed to then-girlfriend supermodel Hannah Davis in 2015. But while going through this most prominent change in his life, the one thing that Jeter never swayed away from was his peculiar eye for fashion.

During the Sports Illustrated Fashionable 50 event, Davis, along with Danish model Nina Agdal picked their favorite stylish athletes. And they also spoke about what they liked about their style. There Davis credited a close friend of Jeter for his style.

Davis, being who she was, notably was asked about Jeter. The reporter asked about what she liked the most about Derek Jeter’s fashion. To which she spoke, “I do like that he has a suit guy he works with, Nigel Curtis, and I feel like he makes amazing suits.”

It seems like every time that Jeter ever suited up, Davis was at the front cheering for her guy. In his days as a Yankee, Jeter said he used to have a tailor who also made suits for the NBA legend Michael Jordan. 

When did Jeter first meet his wife?

In 2012, when the former shortstop was partying with his friends, the supermodel was having dinner with her mother at the same restaurant. In Jeter’s group, a friend of the supermodel was also present, who then became the reason for the two of them meeting.

They met each other, shook hands, instantly clicked with each other, and also started dating soon after. And that was it. By courtesy of a mutual friend, Derek Jeter ended his alleged playboy days and got settled with the supermodel. The couple is now parents to three beautiful daughters and is enjoying their lives raising them in Miami.
