The former Yankee had already set everything in motion as he proposed to then-girlfriend supermodel Hannah Davis in 2015. Davis, being who she was, notably was asked about Jeter. The reporter asked about what she liked the most about Derek Jeter’s fashion. To which she spoke, “I do like that he has a suit guy he works with, Nigel Curtis, and I feel like he makes amazing suits.”

It seems like every time that Jeter ever suited up, Davis was at the front cheering for her guy. In his days as a Yankee, Jeter said he used to have a tailor who also made suits for the NBA legend Michael Jordan. 

When did Jeter first meet his wife?

In 2012, when the former shortstop was partying with his friends, the supermodel was having dinner with her mother at the same restaurant. In Jeter’s group, a friend of the supermodel was also present, who then became the reason for the two of them meeting.

They met each other, shook hands, instantly clicked with each other, and also started dating soon after. And that was it.
