Barry Bonds and Ken Griffey Jr: two icons of baseball?

Baseball fans are conspiring their own theories as to why the two players, especially Bonds, look much different from what they used to in their playing days. For most of the fans, their theories about Bonds go back to the days he got accused of taking performance-enhancing drugs to have most home runs than any other player in the league.

Although Bonds never got tested positive for taking steroids, his association with the cases and sudden surge in his game led many to think that he was indeed taking steroids. Over the years, there have been many controversies surrounding Bonds and his links with PEDs. Considering all those controversies, most of the fans called Griffey Jr. the best player, while they called Bonds a liar. 

Hall of fame cases: a win for one and travesty for the other?

Ken Griffey Jr, or ‘The kid’ in his first year on the ballot, received 99.3% votes inducting him into the Baseball Hall of Fame. As for Bonds, despite putting in the numbers to get inducted, he is not a part of the Hall. It is because of his connections to steroids and the case that he had allegedly cheated in the game.
