All Rise for Aaron Judge. His hard work throughout the season has finally paid off, as the Yankees outfielder has become the American League’s Most Valuable Player in 2022. The debate was going on between only two players, Yankees’ Judge and Angels’ Shohei Ohtani.

All Rise has had a tremendous year this season. He broke the legendary Roger Maris’ record of hitting most homers in a season. He literally changed the fate of his team and took the Yankees to the American League Championship Series.

The Yankees have had a poor start in the second half of this year’s season. If it wasn’t for Judge and his homers, the Yankees might not have won AL East. He got paid for all his hard work this season as he got awarded the AL MVP 2022. He was close to being unanimous but got left out of it by just a couple of first-place votes. Notably, even though the Yankees did not win anything big this season, Judge’s MVP win might put a smile on the faces of the Pinstripes fans.

Just a couple of votes and Aaron Judge would have been the unanimous MVP

Aaron Judge required 30 first-place votes to become the unanimous AL MVP. But the outfielder got only 28 of them. He became the MVP after the tremendous season he had this year. With 62 home runs smashing from the plate, Judge was a lone warrior for the NY Yankees this year.

As soon as the season ended, he became a free agent. After becoming the MVP, surely many teams will now approach Judge to become a part of their team. The outfielder claimed the title over the two-way star Shohei Ohtani and Yordan Alvarez of the Astros. With 62 home runs in the regular season with 2 more in the postseason, Judge claimed his first-ever MVP award last night.

Only if he had gotten two more votes in his favor, he’d have been the unanimous MVP.

Judge was clearly the only choice!

As soon as the news came to the light, MLB fans reacted to the same on the microblogging platform. Even an Astros fan knew that Judge is the only choice!

However, a few of Shohei Ohtani’s fans are glad with Judge winning the AL MVP. Notably, the Angels slugger also had a remarkable season this year.
