The baseball player, Mr. Clean, Derek Jeter, once got secretly engaged to his then-girlfriend actress and model Minka Kelly. The couple at that time were telling the people close to them about the wedding details.

The Yankees legend’s name came up to be in relationships with many women, but most of them stayed rumored because no proof was ever found for the same.

The shortstop started dating the model in the year 2008. And about a year later, the rumors of them getting ‘secretly engaged’ started coming up. 

The rumors were not only rumoring as a source told Page Six, “Derek and Minka are secretly engaged. The wedding is being planned and will take place after baseball season is over.”

However, once Kelly was spotted with the slugger at the Empire Hotel, she denied being in a relationship with the baseball player. Also, a representative of Kelly’s said, “There is no fall wedding planned to Derek Jeter.”
