New York Yankees legend Derek Jeter, before retiring from his Hall of Fame career in 2014, was quite famous in the media. It was not because of his game or him as an athlete, but because of his playboy image. Before the former shortstop started dating his now-wife supermodel Hannah Jeter (formerly Davis), he had quite a big reputation among the ladies. Because the ex-athlete is supposed to have dated several women before meeting Davis in 2012. However, his playboy days got over the moment he proposed to the supermodel.

The couple got married in 2016 and was about to welcome their first kid a year later. At that moment, they had just found out that they would be welcoming their daughter in a couple of months. Their excitement for the same was over the moon as both had nephews in their family but no niece. Therefore, welcoming the first girl into their family was a big thing for the couple.

The couple welcomed their first daughter in August 2017. Having a girl was already a great thing for them. But finding out that their second kid is also a girl, they became ecstatic. While pregnant with their second kid, the couple attended an event together in late 2018, where they talked to PEOPLE about what it was like to welcome a daughter into their family.

The supermodel replied to this by saying, “I’m really excited to buy all the girly fun stuff because we’ve been buying boy things for years. And there’s not that much cute boy clothes, like you really have to look for them.”

The new chapter in the couple’s lives filled them with joy. Jeter and Hannah also welcomed their third daughter in 2021.

Derek calls himself a ‘proud girl dad’

Once an alleged playboy is now a family man. He has said previously that his mornings now consist of getting his daughters ready and dropping them off at school. By the courtesy of his daughters, one of the best shortstops of the MLB history now gets manicures, wears ‘hello kitty’ necklaces, and sometimes even bribes his girls.

Although he has spoken about how his daughters never get to see him play, Jeter is quite content with this fact as well. It is because he wants them to have a chance at a normal life.
