Alex ‘A-Rod’ Rodriguez is frugal when it comes to sunglasses

With a net worth of over $350 million, buying a sunglass should not be a big concern for Alex ‘A-Rod’ Rodriguez. But A-Rod likes to do things differently. He does not like to wear expensive sunglasses. Instead, the Yankees legend prefers to wear economical sunglasses.

In an old interview with GQ Sports, A-Rod explained his rule to own sunglasses. The Yankees legend said if he buys a sunglass worth $200, then he feels to lose them in the next couple of days.

“Any time I have sunglasses that cost more than $200, within 48 hours, I feel like I lose them. If I buy sunglasses at 7/11 for seven bucks. I can have them for four years. I try to lose them, but they pop up in my face. I cannot lose them. I wish they were reversed… I am frugal, baby, frugal.” A-Rod said.

A-Rod’s net worth

As earlier said, with a net worth of over $350 million, Alex ‘A-Rod’ Rodriguez is one of the wealthiest sports personalities in the entire world. Apart from owning multiple real estate properties, A-Rod also co-owns an NBA team, the Minnesota Timberwolves.
