Justin Verlander has thus recently signed an $86.7 million contract with the Mets for a two-year term. As per popular knowledge, Verlander recently won the World Series with the Astros by defeating the Phillies. Kate Upton attended the games to cheer for Verlander and the Astros. Upton also famously flipped off some Phillies fans, which would impress the rival Mets fans. 

Therefore, MLB insider Tim Reilly posted the news on his Twitter account by quoting, “Don’t forget that Justin Verlander and Kate Upton flipped off Phillies fans during the World Series. They’re going to fit in just fine with the Mets…”
