The manager of the Dodgers, Dave Roberts, also got reeled in the staggering change of events that recently befell.

With one hundred and eleven wins out of the one hundred and sixty-two games that the Dodgers played this regular season, the team had the best overall mark for the league. Not only this, but they also were the first team to clinch their division this season.

Not many hours after the Dodgers slipped away from the World Series, words said by the manager, started rounding off on Twitter. This ultimately led to the mocking that Roberts was a part of.?

Wanting to put it on the record, as the Dodgers manager appeared on Dan Patrick’s show on March 24, he seemed to have made a prediction, which turned out to be slightly wrong.?

Weeks before the regular season of Major League Baseball even started, Roberts became pretty sure that the Dodgers would be winning the World Series this year. But that did seem like the case at one point. When the team wrapped up the regular season with 111 wins in their corner, they sure looked like the team gearing up for a championship ring.??

Unfortunately, it did not happen, and the Dodgers came close to the World Series till the NLDS only.
