Aaron Judge has taken over the internet yet again. The New York Yankees captain has had a tough year, battling one injury after another. Determined to bring back the good times, Judge powered through the pain. But despite all efforts, the Bronx Bombers failed to make it to the postseason. Fans are so despondent that even Gus Judge fails to cheer them up.

The Judge’s family includes Aaron and his wife Samantha, and their two cute puppies, Penny and Gus. Penny has stolen the internet’s hearts multiple times over the years with her public appearances. In May, Gus made his Yankee Stadium debut, playing around with his Pinstriped Hooman, taking the online world by storm. Now, he’s back on Judge’s social media but this time around, fans aren’t feeling the charm.

Gus and Aaron Judge In Yet Another Adorable Appearance

Since the Yankees’ season ended early, they had more free time in October. Talking to the press after the dismal playoff news was announced, Aaron Judge declared he had changes in mind. But before implementing them, he was going to take two weeks in October to recuperate. It has been a season full of injuries, after all.

Appearing on what looks to be an airplane, the Yankees captain posted a picture of himself and Gus to his Instagram story. There’s no caption, but the outfielder sits in a Lucali cap and a white sweatshirt, while his fur baby is also smartly dressed in dark blue. Judge is holding Gus in his arms, looking down at him with a smile, but also looking tired.

Looks like the slugger has been enjoying off time to the fullest before deciding to get back to work. The Yankees are in a sad state, but the captain hopes he can influence decision-making in the club’s favor. So that, hopefully, Bronx fans can have something to look forward to in 2024.

It seems like the Yankees Nation is truly done with their team this season. All anyone can hope for is that the winter is made use of properly, so that next year is better.
