The fans hoped that the trade deadline would bring some new faces to change the team’s fate. But that hope has also been shattered after the lousy trades by the Yankees’ management.
As per the fans, the Yankees General Manager Brian Cashman is responsible for the team’s failure in the season, and he has yet again failed the team with the latest trade. The fans are now voicing against Cashman, and in the newest edition, fans chanted ‘fire Cashman’ in the stadium.

The failure of Cashman to work out something meaningful has infuriated the fans. Before the trade deadline, the Yankees acquired Keynan Middleton of the Chicago White Sox and Spencer Howard of the Texas Rangers. Fans believe both players do not align with the team’s current needs.
Fans have continuously stressed the gap in the team, and they blame Cashman for not addressing the issue. During the latest game between the New York Yankees and Tampa Bay Rays, the Yankees fans again shouted against Cashman. They started chanting “Fire Cashman” in the middle of the match.
