The team right now has the three times AL MVP Mike Trout and the two-way star player Shohei Ohtani, and even then, the team is struggling pretty badly this year. The team has won only 61 games this season, while they lost 82. The Angels have not made it to the postseason of Major League Baseball since 2015. And they also have not won any playoff game since the year 2009.

Is Arte Moreno going to sell LA Angels?

With the team’s continued substandard play over the years, the owner of the team, Arte Moreno, and his family decided last month that it was time to let go of the ownership.

The Angels have clinched a losing season. They are 61-82. It is the 7th consecutive season they have a losing record. Despite generational players and a $180 million payroll, this is the result. They'll likely be eliminated officially from the postseason in the coming days.

Throughout the 61 seasons that the LA Angels have played in Major League Baseball, they have only once won the World Series Title in 2002. Accordingly, Trout and Ohtani cannot do it alone. Therefore, the owner has retained Galatioto Sports Partners as financial advisors to help sell the team.
