Bryce Harper has had an eventful MLB season. He missed the 30 games of the campaign while recovering from Tommy John surgery. Even now, Harper is slowly being brought into playing first base after playing at DH for most of the season. Additionally, some other incidents have occurred in the season as well. Weeks after a reported car theft, Harper went into “dad mode” during the Phillies’ latest game. 

In the fallout following his allegedly stolen car, Harper plans to shift to another US city. This is another shocking update in his season thus far. But he wowed fans before the most recent game while showing off his soft side.

The Phillies have recovered from a somewhat rough start to the season to put themselves in a playoff spot. A large part of this is thanks to Bryce Harper for his batting prowess. During the team’s latest game, he showed off his “dad mode” while helping console a lost child who had been separated from their family. The Phillies star helped 7-year-old Caleb reunite with his two brothers. During the commotion, the child had been separated from his family. NBCS sports reporter Taryn Hatcher shared a video of the moment on Twitter.

In a Tweet, she said, “7year old Caleb was upset that he got separated from his two brothers, so @bryceharper went into dad mode”. She later shared a video of Caleb reuniting with his brothers along with a picture of it on Twitter. This was a wholesome moment as Harper made the little kid very happy.
