Aaron Judge joins the elite list

The game against the Royals was a nail-biting one. We were witnessing history getting made by the outfielder Aaron Judge. At first, Judge hit his 40th home run and matched the record of icon Roger Maris. Then, he hit another home run and moved past the icon to the same record as the power-hitting outfielder Babe Ruth with 41 home runs.

Judge is in the middle of the season with 41 home runs, and if the streak continues, he is soon going to break the record of most home runs before August.

Like I’ve said a thousand times, I’m focused on winning baseball games right now,” Judge said. “The stats and stuff like that, we can talk about that at the end of the year.” Notably, the slugger is on the pace to hit 66 home runs this season, which will break the record of 61 home runs by Roger Maris in the 1961 season. Judge prefers to not discuss this, and the Yankees’ manager finds it ‘hard to process‘.

The MLB trade deadline is getting nearer by the minute, and there are still questions about where some players will be going. One of them is Aaron Judge. Two legends of the game, Derek Jeter and Alex A-Rod Rodriguez have already praised him. While they both think he is a phenomenal talent. And he deserves to reach the heights of success in his career.

There is a possibility of Judge becoming a free agent after this season. Also, before the start of this season, Judge rejected the $213.5 million contract for seven years, which was offered to him by his current team, the Yankees.
