Former player of the Houston Astros, World Champ Trey Mancini, is reportedly moving to the Cubs. The news came two days after House of Cards actor Michael Kelly tweeted that the best team for Mancini would be the Atlanta Braves. And the news of the slugger going to the Cubs has the MLB fans rejoicing.

Apparently, Mancini has signed a two-year deal with the Cubs with an option of opting out after his first season. The exact amount of the contract is still unclear, but sources say that the deal is final. Many people on Twitter think Trey Mancini would be a great fit for the Cubs. But at the same time, some people are supporting Kelly’s idea of having Mancini be a part of the Braves. Although, now, it is highly unlikely to happen. But anything can happen in the game of baseball, and each one of us has to wait and watch how everything unfolds.

How did the ex-player of the Astros become a World Champion?
After getting traded to the Houston Astros in the middle of the 2022 season by the Baltimore Orioles, outfielder Mancini hit his career’s first grand slam on August 5. After that, he continued to play better and help his team win the AL West.
