Italian-Australian racing driver, Daniel Ricciardo, is famous for doing shoey at his appearances on the podium. And now it seems like, people in the US like this tradition enough to not let team rivalry come between them.

New York Yankees or Toronto Blue Jays – who did the Shoey first?

It was Jay’s fan who stood up first, took out his shoe, and pointed doing a Shoey to the Pinstripe’s fan. Naturally, the New York Yankees fan was not going to not accept the challenge and did the Shoey after Jay’s fan did.
