Notably, while taking the catch, Jeter dived and crashed into the stands at Yankee Stadium. When he took the catch, Jeter had blood on his face. But was that catch overrated? Of course, he saved a home run, and it helped the Yankees win the game. But what was the need to do this when the Yanks already had a 7.5-game lead over the Red Sox?
