“Used to Sneak Out…”: Jennifer Lopez Once Made Alex Rodriguez Jealous With Incident That Got Her in Trouble Many Years Ago

Even Jennifer Lopez was a teenager once. The musician has long been associated with pop culture for her catchy songs. But as is the fate for anyone in the spotlight, J-Lo’s romantic life has been the subject of as much discussion as her music. For baseball fans, the four years she dated former Yankee Alex Rodriguez were quite interesting.

The couple was together for four years, engaged to be married for the last two of them. While they had their troubles like any partners do, their fairy tale ended in tragedy. And yet, a major part of that relationship was spent in bliss, if their interviews together are anything to go by. In one of them, Lopez revealed an interesting fact about her younger days that possibly made A-Rod jealous.

Jennifer Lopez’s Exploits From Her Youth Affected Alex Rodriguez

Lopez and Rodriguez were a power couple to be envied once, when the former New York Yankees player also got a taste of Hollywood. The two sat down for an interview with Vanity Fair in October 2017 where they answered 17 questions in 128 seconds. After answering questions about whether they preferred the East or West Coast and what movies they would always watch, the questioning turned to the past.

The interviewer asked the former couple, “How did you get in trouble as a kid?” While Rodriguez didn’t answer, or maybe his segment was removed from the final cut, Lopez had an interesting answer. “I used to sneak out to see my boyfriend all the time.” Maybe that’s why the video shows no reaction from Rodriguez. Because it would certainly have made him jealous!

The couple was an interesting mix of two worlds that collided in an unlikely way. Fascinatingly, fans know the singer for her fashion sense, as her multiple Met Gala appearances are witness. But A-Rod isn’t one to be left behind.

Alex Rodriguez’s Unlikely Secret Talent

While the sports world doesn’t offer too many chances for athletes to showcase their fashion sense, many still do it. Alex Rodriguez is apparently a secret fashionista, at least where his daughters are concerned. When the Vanity Fair interviewer asked the couple about their secret talents, A-Rod had an interesting answer. He said, “I think my hidden talent is to dress my girls…to take them shopping and I’m a secret stylist.”
