Vanessa Hudgens has been quite the busy bee these last few months. On a professional level, she will be starring in the newest installment of the Bad Boys franchise. While on a personal level, the actress recently got engaged to her longtime beau Cole Tucker. The actress and the shortstop for MLB’s Colorado Rockies announced the news a few weeks ago. The couple shared pictures taken in the most romantic city in the world – Paris.

But now, Hudgens is taking up a new project that will bring together both these aspects of her life. The High School Musical actress identifies as an Asian-American. While she was born in the US, her mother is from Manila, Philippines. And as a way to honor her heritage, the High School Musical actress will film a travel documentary that focuses on the city and her connection to it. And for the project, she has been exploring the beautiful island and recently posted some pictures that have fans in awe.

Vanessa Hudgens sizzles in new pictures at the Pangulasian Island Resort

As a well-known name in Hollywood, Hudgens has established a name for herself with her acting skills. One of the catchiest things about her presence is how she holds herself. And in a recent Instagram post, the actress looked radiant in a gorgeous bikini. Her friends join her for later pictures as they pose in a huge water body at the resort in Palawan. She captioned the post simply, “Paradise #foreverphilippines.”

Hudgens’ fans were delighted over the beautiful pictures. But foremost were the actress’ friends from the industry and her fiance. “Queen”, said Cole Tucker, while YouTuber Lilly Singh wrote, “Looks amazing.” Some people commented lyrics from her hit songs from the High School Musical trilogy. “Oooh heaven is a place on Earth,” “We’re soarinnnn, flyinnn”, and “Start of something new”, they read.

What is Hudgens’ new project all about?

The actress’s mother, Gina Guangco, moved to the USA at age 25 from the Philippines. So as a way to reconnect with her Filipino roots, Hudgens will explore the city of Manila. She has been trying out the culture and food to the fullest. Her social media has been full of her adventures these last few days.
