When it comes to dating, the record of shortstop Derek Jeter is quite prolonged. Although many of the names on that list are still unconfirmed rumors, pictures with some have also come up. However, the truth is best known to the shortstop himself. 

Out of the women that Jeter allegedly dated, most were models. One such name was Cuban-born American glamour model and actress Vida Guerra. The Yankees shortstop and Vida dated in the year 2005 after she got named FHM’s model of the year. That year was important not only for the model but for the shortstop as well. That was the year when Jeter won the Golden Glove Award for the second time. 

The reason behind their breakup is still unclear, and till 2015, no ill words were spoken, and neither party took a diss at the other. But a couple of years after Jeter started dating supermodel Hannah Davis (now, Jeter), Guerra talked about their relationship. Not only did she talk about Jeter and Davis’ relationship, but she also took a dig at the supermodel. 

What did Guerra once say about the girlfriend of Derek Jeter?

Derek Jeter and his wife Hannah Jeter, notably, have an age difference of almost 16 years. Analogous to that, the FHM’s model talked about Hannah being the right one for Jeter but being way too young for him.

“Hannah is Derek’s type for sure, he’s always liked tall girls … but she was like seven when him and I dated,” Guerra said. Furthermore, she added, “Curves are in — and I have all of those.”

Months after saying this, and when Jeter finally proposed to Hannah, TMZ talked to Guerra about the shortstop finding ‘the one’ of his life.

She then said that Jeter had told her that whenever he got retired, he will get married and have kids. So, according to her, Jeter was living his dream when he proposed to Hannah, and she was not jealous.

Jeter and Hannah got married in 2016. Since then, they have become parents of three beautiful daughters. They are now raising their kids together in Miami. On that note, the shortstop pnce said that raising the kids in Miami is way better than raising them in the Bronx.
